Alicen Jobes solely focuses her practice on representing victims of personal injury, especially victims of medical negligence, nursing home abuse and neglect.

She attended Towson University, where she studied to become a Registered Nurse. After obtaining her license to practice nursing, she worked caring for cancer patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Alicen then decided to continue her studies at the University of Maryland School of Law, where she studied health care law and earned her Health Law Certificate in addition to her Juris Doctorate. During this time, Alicen served as the team captain for the Heath Law Transactional Team, which placed second in a national competition against 25 top law schools. At graduation, she was awarded the William P. Cunningham Award for exceptional achievements and service to the school.
